Please don’t let this situation make you hide away in your home and never make any more friends, because you might miss out on the very friends you hoped you could have! If you do you might think you are protecting yourself, but you are actually hindering yourself from great relationships, joy, experiences, etc. Please make sure you DO be careful of people and not allow wanting to see the best in others blind your vision. Girl this - my hair was all that defined me, or so I thought. I actually like it short. It's so much easier to maintain. Before, I didn't know WTF to do with it. Just two braids - and with sweating and working out - 4 hours worth of twisting was NOT worth it. So I chopped my hair a few months ago and I get it cut about every 3 weeks... I'm happy with it... I might let it get to your length here, but IDK. I;m cool for now. I literally wash, slap some gel in, brush, and go.
