Good man. Not an avid Jeopardy watcher, haven't watched an episode for a couple of years, but you can just hear that awful sickness in his voice. No one should have to suffer like that. Still he got up each day to film a show in pain because he knew how much it meant to us. A man truly bigger than his image

This man was a man of dignity, calmness and logic. I watched the show time to time and I always enjoyed just how stoic he was. Rest easy Mr.Trebek....you earned it..and to all those saddened a quote from an unlikely show. I am a lifelong Star Trek fan... Despite all the bad things that are happening now, we Trekkers have always believed that the bright future depicted in Star Trek is possible if we continue to help each other (especially those in need)--just like Mr. Trebek said here. I hope that Star Trek can pay tribute to Mr. Trebek in some way--perhaps an encounter with a Starfleet officer who turns out to be one of his descendents?
